Job summary

Pomelo Care is building a leading virtual medical practice for women and children. This role is the technical lead for how patients interact with Pomelo from enrollment through their care journey, shaping mobile and web experiences and mentoring engineers.

You will set standards for patient-facing products and partner with product, design, and clinical teams. You will collaborate closely with product and design, leverage AI tools to move fast, and focus on engagement and retention during the

Qualifications

• Experience shipping consumer or patient-facing apps.
• Experience leading a technical team and setting architecture direction.
• Strong collaboration with product and design.
• Comfortable with startup pace and full-stack work.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or agent-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction for mobile development and patient-facing apps.
• Prototype and ship features with design and product, using AI tools.
• Steer product direction to engage patients in their first month.
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate needs into features.
• Mentor and grow junior engineers and set engineering standards.
