Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Technical Lead for NAV Application & Infrastructure Support to ensure stability and rapid resolution of complex NAV issues. You will be the primary technical expert for NAV and its infrastructure, delivering reliable services to clients.

Requirements include NAV 2009 R2 experience, data structures and file interfaces (CSV/XML), and a background in ITIL/infra management. A CS/IT bachelor's degree is expected, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot failed transactions and file-based integrations (CSV/XML).
• Perform data fixes and system-level corrections to address issues.
• Support manual accounting processes and resolve complex technical cases.
• Manage infrastructure availability, servers, drives, and access controls.
• Execute backups, DR procedures, and access provisioning for continuity.
• Facilitate audit validation and data integrity checks.
• Serve as the primary technical dependency for rapid incident response.

As a Technical Lead (NAV Application & Infrastructure Support), you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability and continuity of business-critical systems. You will serve as the primary technical expert for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and its supporting infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and rapid resolution of complex technical issues. Your expertise will directly contribute to the organization's ability to deliver reliable and efficient services to its clients.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including issue resolution, defect handling, and system optimization.
• Troubleshoot failed transactions and file-based integrations (NETS, bank interfaces, reports), ensuring data accuracy and process continuity.
• Perform data fixes and system-level corrections to address operational challenges.
• Support manual accounting processes and resolve complex technical cases impacting business operations.
• Manage infrastructure environment availability, including servers, H drives, and user access controls.
• Execute system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and access provisioning to maintain data integrity and business continuity.
• Facilitate audit validation, conduct data integrity checks, and deliver technical troubleshooting for compliance and operational excellence.
• Serve as the single point of technical dependency, ensuring rapid response to critical system incidents.

Skill Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2, including application support and troubleshooting.
• In-depth understanding of data structures, transactional processes, and file interfaces (CSV/XML).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and environment management in legacy application setups.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across application and infrastructure layers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Prior experience supporting financial or banking integrations is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and audit compliance.
• Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or related Microsoft technologies are advantageous.
