Job summary

Intersog is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to support a U.S.-based Microsoft Dynamics client, focusing on modernization and migration initiatives. You will work closely with customers during early engagement, understand their current systems, and help define the best migration strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Solution Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics experience including config, customizations, integrations.
• Experience in ERP modernization, upgrades or migrations.
• Ability to lead discovery sessions and analyze environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for customer engagements.

We are seeking aPre-Sales Solution Engineer to support a new U.S.-based client on Microsoft Dynamicsmodernization and migration initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who can work closely with customers during the early phases of an engagement, understand their current systems, and help define the best migration strategy.

The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with strong communication skills and is comfortable leading discovery sessions, analyzing existing environments, and translating business and technical requirements into solution designs. This is not an architect-level position; we are seeking an engineer with practical experience and a consultative mindset.

What You'll Lead and Build

• Lead discovery workshops and technical assessments with customers.
• Analyze current Microsoft Dynamics environments and understand existing customizations, integrations, and processes.
• Identify migration opportunities, risks, and dependencies.
• Define and present high-level solution designs and migration approaches.
• Collaborate with sales teams during pre-sales activities and provide technical guidance.
• Document findings, recommendations, and proposed architectures.
• Support planning for:
• Environment setup
• Code upgrade strategy
• Data migration and cloud migration
• Warehouse implementation
• Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Training activities
• Mock go-live and cutover planning

• Fluent English.
• 3+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Consultant, or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Dynamics 365, AX, NAV, Business Central, or related products), including configuration, customization, integrations, troubleshooting, and supporting upgrade or migration initiatives.
• Experience participating in ERP modernization, upgrade, or migration projects.
• Ability to conduct discovery sessions and analyze existing business and technical environments.
• Understanding of application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience creating solution designs, technical documentation, and migration recommendations.
• Familiarity with code upgrade strategies, data migration, and cloud migration approaches.
• Knowledge of testing processes, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, delivery, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migrations.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and reporting solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture concepts.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications are a plus.
