Job summary

Equilibrium is seeking a Technical Lead in Mine Waste to spearhead tailings and waste rock project delivery. You will provide senior geotechnical leadership, guide design teams, ensure safety and quality, and nurture client relationships across multidisciplinary groups.

You will lead technical excellence, contribute to proposals, and grow Equilibrium's Mine Waste capabilities. Travel to mine sites may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in geotechnical engineering, mining, or mine waste project delivery.
• Experience in geotechnical design and evaluation of tailings dams or mine waste structures.
• Engineers of Record experience or dam safety reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations, design, and delivery of tailings and mine waste projects.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and mentor junior staff and build client relationships.
• Drive proposals, pursuits, and growth of the Mine Waste practice.
