Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Brooklyn Park, MN seeks an Engineering Manager- Extrusion to lead medical extrusion processes while staying hands-on with technology.

You will work with customers, operators, technicians, quality, and engineering teams to solve complex challenges and drive process improvements across the operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong extrusion expert to progress into leadership with greater influence on NPI programs, product development, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on extrusion experience with setup, troubleshooting or development.
• Experience with OQ/PQ execution and process validation in regulated settings.
• Experience conducting DOE analyses and process characterization.
• Experience supporting customer-facing engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site's technical SME for medical extrusion.
• Lead process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute DOE and process characterization studies.
• Lead and support process validation activities (OQ/PQ).
• Drive NPI projects from development through production launch.
• Interface with customers to support technical discussions and programs.
• Provide mentorship and technical oversight to one extrusion engineer.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, quality and manufacturing teams.
• Develop tooling, systems and documentation to improve performance.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support project coordination across engineering, quality and operations.
