Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; BS in Plastics Engineering preferred; Masters in Plastics Engineering a plus.
• 5+ years of extrusion experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience with complex multi-lumen extrusion tooling and process development.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, validate, and improve extrusion processes (melt extrusion).
• Lead projects and prioritize tasks for extrusion areas.
• Support tooling design and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and capital planning.
• Provide on-site mentoring and technical guidance to technicians and engineers.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
