Job summary

As part of the Android and Mobile ecosystem, you will contribute to backend systems, product strategy and partnerships, with a focus on scalable, secure software and innovative AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience in domains such as AI, ML, Generative AI, LLMs, or Personalization.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas to improve AI features based on empirical data.
• Design and tune Gemini prompts; design and build infrastructure to measure and improve AI response quality.
• Use computer vision techniques to improve AI image understanding.
• Run side-by-side and live experiments to showcase your impact.
• Collaborate with Research and cross-functional partner teams to disseminate AI techniques.

• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience in Large Language models (LLMs) and Generative AI.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $207000 - $301000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits.
