Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with at least one of the following domains: AI, ML, Generative AI, Large Language Model, Personalization, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross‑functional or cross‑business projects.
• Experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas to improve AI features based on empirical data.
• Design and tune Gemini prompts; design and build infrastructure to measure and improve AI response quality.
• Use computer vision techniques to improve AI image understanding.
• Run side‑by‑side and live experiments to showcase your impact.
• Work with Research and cross‑functional partner teams to learn and share the best AI techniques.

US: $207,000 - $301,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
