Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale seeks software engineers to develop next-generation AI and large-scale systems. You will contribute across the full stack, from model deployment to distributed computing, and switch teams as projects evolve.

As an engineer, you will collaborate on design reviews, implement scalable ML solutions, and help build products that impact billions of users across Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Vids and Meet. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or related ML field.
• 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates and feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve impacts on hardware, network, or service operations.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
