Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead to manage the technical operation and optimization of event production facilities, control rooms, and broadcast systems for a multinational client.

You will oversee live, virtual, and hybrid events, drive preventative maintenance, and mentor the technical team to uphold standards and SLAs. The role requires deep expertise in broadcast tech, IP-based workflows, and strong collaboration with client event teams to deliver high-quality experiences across

Qualifications

• 7+ years in event production or broadcast engineering.
• 3+ years supporting onsite, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and production systems support.
• Experience with control room technologies including switchers, consoles, graphics.
• Knowledge of IP-based media workflows and network transport.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and readiness of live event and broadcast systems across environments.
• Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and escalation for production technologies.
• Support onsite, hybrid, virtual, and broadcast events.
• Mentor staff and establish operational standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and manufacturers for repairs and updates.
• Document procedures and track incidents for continuous improvement.
