Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Event Production Technician to design, set up, execute, and support onsite, hybrid, and virtual events for a multinational pharma/biotech client. You will operate video, audio, streaming, and control room systems to ensure high-quality event delivery.

You will collaborate with production teams and clients, make real-time decisions, and help optimize production facilities and workflows across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in live event production, broadcast, or related technical environments.
• Experience supporting onsite, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Strong studio/control room production experience with hands-on operation.
• Knowledge of control room equipment including video switchers, audio consoles, robotic cameras, and playback systems.
• Familiarity with Teams/Zoom and enterprise meeting platforms for virtual events.
• Ability to make quick, real-time technical decisions under pressure to maintain broadcast quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation for design and execution of live, hybrid, and virtual events.
• Coordinate events across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and similar platforms with live production support.
• Act as producer or technical producer for show flow, speakers, timing, and run-of-show.
• Ensure technical readiness and compliance with standards and procedures for all events.
• Support post-event tasks including basic editing and clip delivery of assets.
• Collaborate to evaluate production workflows and suggest improvements.
