Caterpillar is seeking a Technical Lead - Hybrid Power & Energy Storage Systems to shape the next generation of energy solutions. You will guide the design, integration, and deployment of advanced hybrid systems across across the globe, influencing product strategy and technology direction.

This role requires leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, and driving collaboration with international teams to meet customer needs and business goals.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and influencing engineering direction.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, controls, inverter technologies, or power distribution systems.

Mansioni

• Define system architectures and technical roadmaps for future products.
• Lead the technical development of hybrid power and energy storage systems.
• Drive integration of generators, BESS, inverters, microgrids, and site-level control systems.
• Guide requirements development, design reviews, validation activities, and technical decision-making.
• Partner with global engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and business goals.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple projects and teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to advance Caterpillar's hybrid energy portfolio.
