Job summary

PSA BDP is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our international development organization, based in Houston, TX or Philadelphia, PA. You will lead a team delivering logistics software, setting technical direction, and partnering with stakeholders across regions.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on Java or PHP expertise, strong architecture skills, and a proven track record in agile delivery and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role leading development teams.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Java or PHP (preferably both) with logistics software experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Solid understanding of modern software architecture and patterns.
• Full software development lifecycle, agile delivery, and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a developers team delivering logistics software, setting standards and accountability.
• Provide hands-on technical direction: architecture, reviews, and code reviews.
• Plan and prioritize work in an agile delivery model across regions.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Coach engineers and drive continuous improvement using engineering metrics.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to production support.
