Job summary

Leidos in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer Team Technical Lead to guide a small on-site team, architect and deliver JAVA full stack applications, and drive AI/GenAI integration.

You will mentor three senior developers, lead PI planning, ensure code quality, and coordinate with government customers on requirements. Candidates should have extensive Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud experience with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years with a Masters.
• Experience leading an Agile team and delivering scalable Java full-stack apps.
• Proven experience with AI/ML in software lifecycle and AI tool evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Directly guide, mentor, and coach a team of three senior developers.
• Develop and integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise solutions.
• Prompt engineering, API integration.
• Monitor team performance; resolve impediments; drive improvements.
• Lead architecture, design, development, reviews, testing, deployment, and support across SDLC.
• Lead PI Planning from a technical perspective.
• Groom objectives and provide technical details for architecture.
• Lead cross-team collaboration for development, testing, deployment.
• Update customers on PI progress including testing and release readiness.
• Maintain code quality and CM processes.
• Build front-end of apps with strong UI design; define build APIs.
• Provide technical leadership; set coding standards; conduct reviews.
• Identify growth areas within the team; coach.
