Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer Team Technical Lead to guide an Agile, on-site team in Ashburn, VA, delivering real-time, scalable Java applications and AI-enabled capabilities for CBP. You will mentor three senior developers, drive architecture and CI/CD practices, and coordinate with government customers and architects to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher with 12+ years related experience, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of Tech lead experience.
• Designing and delivering scalable Java full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and modern front-end tech.
• Experience with AI/ML as part of the software lifecycle and evaluating emerging AI technologies.
• Hands-on expert in React/Angular/JavaScript/CSS/HTML, AWS, EKS, Ansible, GIT, Rafay, and RESTful services.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Guide team development efforts toward successful project delivery.
• Mentor and coach a team of three senior developers.
• Develop and integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise solutions.
• Monitor performance, resolve impediments, and drive improvements.
• Lead architecture, design, reviews, testing, deployment, and production support across the SDLC.
• Lead PI Planning from technical aspect and align objectives.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and communicate progress to customers.
• Maintain code quality and CM processes; build front-end APIs and UI components.
• Provide technical leadership and establish coding standards.
