Job summary

Betsson Group is seeking a Tech Lead for frontend engineering to drive technical excellence across web applications. You will bridge domain architects and engineering teams, shaping technical design, research new technologies, and delivering POCs for new ideas.

This hands-on leadership role also involves coaching engineers and guiding critical architectural decisions across distributed teams. You will champion modern agile practices, collaborate closely with product and architecture, review

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering for web applications.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience with observable technologies and reactive patterns (RxJS/Signals).
• Proficient in agile software development, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with web component frameworks (StencilJS) and frontend architecture.
• Experience delivering scalable frontend solutions and coordinating frontend with backend APIs.
• Strong communication, design review, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design decisions and ensure alignment with domain architects.
• Hands-on contribution to important technical initiatives and POCs.
• Coach and mentor engineers; participate in technical interviews.
• Review PRs and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams across the organisation.
• Drive AI tooling adoption responsibly and promote secure coding practices.
• Contribute to planning, refinement, and other ceremonies; stay aligned with roadmap.
