Job summary

Betsson Group is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead for Brand Experience to drive technical excellence across web applications. You will bridge domain architects and engineering teams, lead design decisions, and contribute hands-on to critical initiatives while mentoring engineers.

You will also research new technologies, produce POCs, and help shape the technical roadmap to improve stability, performance and delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering for web applications.
• Deep understanding of Observable technologies (RxJS).
• Experience with modern agile practices, Git-based projects, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of web component frameworks (e.g. StencilJS).
• Experience with large-scale applications including SDK/FE components, architecture, modularisation, bundling, unit testing and backend API integration.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence in the domain and improve stability, performance, code quality, and development efficiency.
• Lead technical design decisions in collaboration with domain architects.
• Develop POCs and document technical designs to support new product development.
• Research new technologies and assess their applicability to Betsson Group products.
• Review major changes to ensure quality and stay aligned with standards.
• Coach and mentor engineers and participate in technical interviews.
