Job summary

Betsson Group in Kentucky seeks a Tech Lead for the Sportsbook Technology team. You will own design, development, and delivery of high‑volume backend services within a B2B/Integrations context, focusing on architecture, performance, and technical excellence.

You will mentor engineers, drive improvements, and collaborate with global tech teams to ensure consistent, scalable solutions across the platform.

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing distributed microservices.
Deep understanding of C# and .NET framework/core.
Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.
Familiarity with SQL PostgreSQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
Knowledge of messaging systems and event‑driven architecture.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong coding best practices and collaborative mindset.
Team player with ability to coach engineers and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead design, POCs and development within the Sportsbook B2B & Integrations value stream.
Ensure architectural direction is communicated and implemented across teams.
Promote technical consistency and drive excellence initiatives.
Identify and validate technical improvements; help product managers prioritise them.
Explain benefits of improvements to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Contribute to development, testing, code reviews, bug fixes and feature delivery.
Participate in technical interviews and mentor engineers.
Stay current with technology and strategically apply new use cases.
