Job summary

General Motors seeks an experienced Die Program Manager to lead the overall die program management process at the die line level. You will ensure engineering packages follow best practices, manage timing through construction and verification, and facilitate the transition to secondary tryout and production facilities.

You will also verify SPQRC metrics, capture lessons learned, participate in design and build buyoffs, and coordinate action plans to close open issues across die-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field plus 5 years in Tool and Die Integration/ CAD/ related role.
• Proficient with project management methodologies incl. cost, timing, scope, quality, and stakeholders.
• Experience with Die engineering processes and related tools (DOL/DMF/DMF).

Responsibilities

• Lead die program management at die line level and ensure packages adhere to best practices.
• Manage timing through construction, verification, and transition to secondary tryout/production.
• Attend design and construction buyoffs and analyze die machining and formability.
• Coordinate corrective actions, ensure open issues are closed on time, and support events (T-Events, GSE/Painted Panel Review).
