Job summary

Index Analytics, LLC is seeking a Program Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and solution architecture guidance for our software delivery team supporting federal health programs. You will guide architectural decisions, mentor developers, and align delivery with client needs while ensuring secure, scalable applications across presentation, application/API, and data layers.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, with occasional engineering contributions and business development

Qualifications

US citizenship or eligibility for U.S. federal clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of software development, systems design, or solution architecture experience.
Experience leading software delivery teams.
Experience designing or delivering cloud-based applications, APIs, and data-connected systems.
Experience with AWS environments and REST APIs.
Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution of software delivery workstreams with cross-functional teams.
Provide day-to-day technical direction to developers and ensure delivery commitments.
Translate business needs into actionable design and implementation guidance.
Prioritize technical work, manage risks, and resolve blockers.
Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to leadership.
Define architecture decisions and implementation standards.
Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions for federal clients.
Mentor developers on architecture and coding practices.
