Come join the team at Perdue AgriBusiness! Perdue AgriBusiness (PAB) is one of the two operating divisions of Perdue Farms. Our company portfolio generates over $6.5 billion in sales and we are among the nation’s Top 25 grain companies with a global reach through our domestic and international export operations including organic grains. The Technical Lead is a valued leader in designing, developing, and implementing PAB’s existing and new systems and technologies. This position requires a hands-on engineer, responsible for providing IT and OT support to our PAB associates, as well as mentoring junior engineers and assisting IT management in planning projects and team workload.

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal And Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in development, implementing, troubleshooting and solutioning custom .NET applications and SAAS solutions.
• Coordinate with software vendors and internal IT teams to design, build and implement technical solutions.
• Architect solutions for Incidents and projects brought by business.
• Responsible for requirements gathering and technical documentation, related to assigned projects.
• Occasional travel to install and troubleshoot OneWeigh system components, as necessary, to support the PAB facilities.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of previous IT experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams.
• Core coding experience, including VB.NET, C#.NET, SQL.NET, and Python.
• Windows Forms.
• Microsoft Access Database.
• Git code repository.
• Systems analysis and troubleshooting experience.

Experience Preferred

• Experience in the agriculture industry, including specific tools, such as Agtech and OneWeigh.
• Experience with reporting tools; PowerBI, Crystal Reports, and/or Dataiku.
• Experience with Azure and Power Apps.

Environmental Factors And Physical Requirements

• The position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
• May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
• When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
