Cisco is seeking a Technical Lead in AI-Native Software Engineering (hybrid) to guide the Security Workflow Engineering team's architecture and technology choices. You will lead complex problems, review designs, and ensure robust, secure solutions across Cisco’s platforms.

The role combines deep software engineering with mentoring, AI-native practices, and cross-team collaboration, while maintaining hands-on credibility in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience with architectural decisions.
• Deep expertise in design, implementation and scale of systems.
• Experience guiding engineers on technical and architectural decisions without management.
• Fluency in AI-native software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction across the team's portfolio.
• Lead on the hardest technical problems with strong, defensible architecture.
• Guide engineers on sound architectural choices with proven judgment.
• Collaborate with other technical leaders to drive shared decisions with urgency.
