RTX Corporation seeks a Technical Lead, AI Application Development to guide design and delivery of AI-enabled enterprise software. You will lead a team building LLM-powered interfaces and robust web apps, using Angular/TypeScript, Java, and RESTful APIs. Strong engineering leadership and SAFe experience are essential.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure code, mentorship, and collaboration with AI/ML and enterprise teams across the organization, with remote work option in the U.S.

Competenze

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing full-stack enterprise web applications using modern software development technologies and frameworks
• Experience designing and developing modern, responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience developing Java-based backend applications and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks
• Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, API integration, and application architecture
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including guiding application design, mentoring developers, and contributing to software development in an Agile/Scrum environment
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on technical leadership in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of AI-enabled enterprise applications, including LLM-powered interfaces, chatbot, and agentic AI solutions
• Design and develop full-stack web applications with emphasis on Angular/TypeScript frontend, Java backend services, and RESTful API development
• Develop and maintain interfaces and backend services that integrate with LLM platforms and enterprise data sources
• Collaborate with AI/ML specialists and architects to integrate AI capabilities into reliable, secure applications
• Take ownership of complex development challenges from concept to production support
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and code reviews across teams
• Establish software engineering best practices including CI/CD
• Collaborate with product owners to set technical roadmaps and address debt and infrastructure needs
• Troubleshoot complex application challenges including performance and cybersecurity issues
• Communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Lead across teams to address significant challenges and drive resolution
