NLB Services in the Bay Area is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack L2 Tech Lead to drive enterprise application development across globally distributed teams. This role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership to deliver scalable, secure solutions for mission-critical platforms.

You will define architecture, lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and coordinate planning and estimation with international partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years programming (or 4+ years + PhD).
• Proven track record in technical direction and cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience with enterprise-scale platforms, integrations, and production support.
• Strong background in API design, unit testing, and maintainable codebases.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Architecture & Design: Define scalable, secure, and high-performing technical architecture.
• Code Quality: Lead reviews, enforce standards, and promote engineering excellence.
• Technical Decisions: Drive framework/library choices balancing innovation and business priorities.
• Problem-Solving: Act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Lead sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog management.
• Ensure communication standards and traceable documentation.
• Partner globally for planning & estimation.
• Drive risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers through code pairing and technical guidance.
• Act as a bridge across regions (US, Singapore, UK, India).
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and translate business goals into technical plans.
• Promote knowledge sharing via documentation, handovers, and cross-training.

Other Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding for critical features and prototypes.
• Support DevOps & CI/CD for smooth deployments and system reliability.

Minimum Qualifications
