Augusta Technical College is seeking a Technical Instructor, Trades & Industry to manage instruction for the program. You will develop lesson plans, deliver classroom and online instruction, and assess student progress.

Qualifications

• Diploma in the field from a nationally accredited institution.
• At least three years full-time work experience in the field.
• Knowledge of DC/AC circuits, motor control, PLCs, pumps and piping systems, industrial wiring and mechanics.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent military/company program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction.
• Prepares standardized course syllabi using College template.
• Delivers classroom and/or online instruction in theory and practical applications.
• Evaluates student progress based on course goals and grading requirements.
• Measures learning outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Maintains documentation (roster, attendance, grade book).
• Accesses student information for advisement and registration.
