Service Sales Director - West

Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious revenue growth objectives. This position is designed for early-career individuals aspiring to become Business Development Managers. You will be the main contact for customers and partners with urgent needs, requiring technical knowledge, quick learning, and creative problem-solving skills to manage multiple work streams.

This is a remote role, with preferred candidates located in Vancouver, WA, Seattle, WA, Sacramento, CA, Ontario, CA, or Phoenix, AZ. You will contribute to the Electrification Services division in the western United States.

You will be mainly responsible for:

  • Assisting outside sales with quotations, order processing, customer interactions, and communication with ABB factories and Aftermarket teams.
  • Handling website-generated service requests and sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound calls/emails. Routing qualified opportunities to sales managers.
  • Collaborating with Factory Teams, Aftermarket Parts Channel Managers, Commercial Proposal Managers, Application Engineers, and Customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationships to understand their operations, objectives, and needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in proposal development, sales support, or order administration is preferred.
  • Knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems is preferred.
  • Experience with B2B customer support is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Empower and SAP tools is preferred.
