We are seeking a Campus Welcome Services Lead (12 Month Fixed-Term) to join our team.

The Opportunity:

The Campus Welcome Services Lead will coordinate guest-service booth operations, ensure quality standards, supervise staff, and maintain effective communication with university guests. The role involves partnering with management to meet team goals and address operational needs.

The Responsibilities:
  • Train, supervise, coach, and counsel guest service staff, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining professionalism.
  • Uphold safety and image standards, conduct regular checks, and discipline staff as needed.
  • Follow up on work orders, manage shift transitions, and assist with scheduling feedback.
  • Complete administrative tasks, handle reservations and inventory, and oversee supplies.
  • Promote USC's values, foster inclusive environments, and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, with the understanding that responsibilities may evolve.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience may substitute education.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience, including 2 years in customer service and 1 year in management.
  • Knowledge of parking procedures, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with diverse communities, with diplomacy and tact.
  • Excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills.
  • Valid CA driver’s license; willingness to participate in DMV Pull Notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years in customer service, especially handling financial transactions.
  • Leadership experience advising staff, experience with special events, and university environment familiarity.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Additional Details:
  • Work may include weekends, evenings, or holidays.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods, sometimes outdoors.
Compensation & Benefits:
