About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support both internal and external customers through order processing and sales-related activities. This role is key to delivering exceptional customer service by managing all aspects of the order lifecycle—from quoting and pricing to order entry, delivery coordination, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to perform the following core duties effectively:

• Quoting & Proposals:
• Respond to customer inquiries, identify parts based on original pump specifications, and determine current part costs and availability. Prepare accurate proposals using established pricing guidelines and maintain records of costs and selling prices.
• Order Management:
• Review incoming orders for accuracy, coordinate with the Order Management team to gather necessary customer information, and ensure proper order processing. Maintain digital customer files including contracts and relevant documentation. Provide backup support for order entry as needed.
• Offer pricing, availability, and formal quotations for Flygt AC products and services. Support pre- and post-order activities and assist with additional tasks as required by the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field preferred, or 2+ years of relevant experience in customer support, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in customer service and project support.
• Technical understanding of BOMs, geometric dimensioning/tolerances, and technical drawings.
• Ability to work with suppliers for quotes and support service proposals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with diverse teams and customers.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
