Job summary

Weimer Bearing & Transmission seeks a motivated Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Des Moines team. You will enter and process orders, prepare quotes, handle returns, and serve as the main contact for customers while delivering technical product solutions.

You’ll build relationships, learn our product lines, and participate in internal training. A fast-paced, team-oriented environment with growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of inside sales experience.
• Industrial sales or power transmission product experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Experience with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare customer quotations and follow up on opportunities.
• Handle returns, expediting, and order status updates.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Provide technical product solutions and support to customers.
• Learn and understand our product lines and applications.
• Participate in and complete our internal training program.
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
