Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative in San Antonio, TX.

You will serve as the technical and commercial liaison between customers and manufacturing, reviewing drawings, specifications, and capabilities to prepare accurate quotations and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will understand steel fabrication processes, blueprint interpretation, welding, machining, forming, and workflows, supporting customers in aerospace, defense, energy, and

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of steel fabrication, machining, or technical inside sales experience.
• Experience with fabricated steel products, weldments, or machined components is preferred.
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or high-spec manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• AS9100/ISO quality knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications from customers.
• Evaluate manufacturability and determine fabrication methods with engineering/ops.
• Prepare detailed quotations for components and value-added services.
• Be the primary contact for technical questions on materials, processes, tolerances.
• Coordinate customer requirements with production, quality, purchasing, and shipping.
• Monitor orders from quotation to shipment to meet delivery commitments.
• Identify cost-effective fabrication solutions and alternate methods.
• Interpret welding requirements, material certifications, and quality standards.
• Support new product launches, prototypes, and production programs.
• Maintain communication with procurement, engineers, and program managers.
• Manage lead times, material availability, and production schedules.
• Investigate and resolve technical, quality, or delivery issues.
• Maintain ERP/CRM data for customers, quotes, and orders.
