Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant maintenance, reliability, or project management experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing responsibilities.
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience managing a diverse group of technical subject matter experts.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Houston Technical Team (HTT) and promote a safety-first, high-performance culture.
• Manage staffing needs, timesheets, expenses, PTO, and training.
• Support maintenance and reliability programs, including TPM and Predictive/Preventive maintenance.
• Oversee contractors and vendors, including qualification and performance.
• Ensure HTT compliance with Evonik policies and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to standardize services and reduce costs across sites.
