Job summary

CBIZ’s Technical & Transactional Accounting Practice is seeking a seasoned professional to support high-growth clients with complex accounting and reporting needs, including IPO prep and audit readiness. The role emphasizes leadership, client relationship building, and delivering high-quality engagements across US GAAP and IFRS frameworks.

Ideal candidates are located in the San Francisco Bay Area or nearby, with flexibility for remote/hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related accounting/assurance experience preferred.
• US GAAP knowledge required; IFRS knowledge a plus.
• U.S. CPA certification required.
• Public accounting or consulting background preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop extensive skills in audit procedures, SEC reporting and technical GAAP.
• Enhance professional oral and written communication skills.
• Provide leadership and guidance to engagement teams.
• Manage engagements and deliver high-quality client deliverables.
• Train managers and staff and develop career plans with senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to add-on services to clients.
