Akina Inc. seeks a senior network engineering professional to provide design, architecture, and enterprise security for data center and wide area networks. The role covers installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco-based).

You will work on CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure and virtualization projects, creating system diagrams and presenting to management. The ideal candidate holds a technical B.S.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience installing, configuring and supporting enterprise network devices.
• Expert level support for Cisco-based routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
• Experience in system-level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN.
• Ability to create system diagrams and present to management.
• Packet capture software experience.

Description

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations)

Proficient with the following (as specific position requires):

Must have skills needed to install, configure, and support the following:

• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Expert level support to include physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco-based).
• Experienced in system level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.
• Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design
• Create system diagrams and present high-level presentations to management. Experienced in packet capture software.

Qualifications

B.S. in a technical discipline and10 years’ experience in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise in addition to related degree or 15 years’ experience in lieu of degree.

DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.

Salary Range

$210k-$250k (Annually)*

*The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
