Overview: A Scag Power Equipment Field Service Technician is responsible for resolving, identifying, and providing technical support for outdoor power equipment in a designated region. The role involves up to 80% travel during peak season and is remote.

Territory: North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho.

Responsibilities

1. Essential duties:
   • Handle technical support calls, emails, and on-site support within the territory.
   • Manage dealer contacts and prioritize workload.
   • Coordinate with Territory Managers on service and warranty issues.
   • Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosis, and parts questions for machines.
   • Provide on-site support when needed.
   • Follow corporate procedures and complete field reports.
2. Customer Contacts:
   • Assist with inquiries via social media, email, etc.
   • Manage and distribute complaints to support staff.
3. Training:
   • Participate in dealer training seminars.
   • Assist in creating training materials.
4. Miscellaneous:
   • Evaluate and improve existing programs.
   • Support engineering and R&D with field requests.
