• Provide technical authority in high‑speed SI/PI across ASICs, packaging, boards and optical interfaces.
• Drive end‑to‑end optical system integration, including silicon photonics and laser integration for high‑density systems.
• Influence SerDes architecture, modeling assumptions and tuning strategies to align ASIC design with channel behavior and packaging constraints.
• Be hands‑on during lab bring‑up, characterization and system debug across SI/PI, optics, firmware and packaging.
• Represent AMD in industry standards bodies to influence next‑gen interconnect specs and ecosystem alignment.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish best practices across teams.
