Job summary

EPRI in the United States is seeking a Technical Executive to drive enterprise-level leadership in power-system simulation, grid engineering, DER integration, and advanced energy-system applications. The role emphasizes shaping EPRI's technical vision, developing new capabilities, and guiding advisory services that create value for members and clients.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, influence industry practice, and collaborate across sectors to advance grid

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering or scientific discipline is preferred.
Typically requires 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in power systems engineering, research, technology development, utility operations, consulting, or related areas.
Experience influencing technical strategy and establishing credibility with senior industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic technical leadership for power-system simulation, grid modernization, DER integration, and advanced energy-system applications.
Defines technical direction, research priorities, and long-term strategies across EPRI sectors and programs.
Represents EPRI externally through industry forums, executive engagements, and strategic partnerships.
Leads the development of new technical capabilities, advisory services, and market-facing solutions.
Leads multidisciplinary teams of senior technical experts and mentors staff across the organization.
