Job summary

PACIV is seeking a Technical Estimator to join our Indianapolis, IN team, supporting automation, controls, instrumentation, and validation projects for manufacturing and regulated industry clients.

You will develop detailed estimates, review specs and scopes, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, operations, and vendors to define technical solutions and proposals from concept through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in automation, controls, instrumentation, validation (CQV) or related.
• Ability to read technical specs, engineering docs and project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for automation, controls, instrumentation, and validation projects.
• Review project specifications, scopes of work, RFPs, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and operations teams to develop technical solutions and project proposals.
• Work with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information.
• Support project planning efforts and help identify the best technical approach for client needs.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support projects across manufacturing, process automation, life sciences, and industrial environments.
• Participate in client meetings and industry events as a technical resource.
