Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Technical Engineering Lead to support the U.S. Army PEO M&S in Huntsville, AL. This role requires a current SECRET clearance and focuses on system-of-systems engineering for Integrated Fires architectures.

You will lead technical meetings, coordinate across engineering domains, and contribute to test planning and simulations within a federal solutions context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of related professional experience.
• Hold a current Secret Clearance.
• Systems engineering analysis and process management, including development of operation concepts and integrated schedules.
• Self-motivated and able to document and follow up on customer requests.
• Adept at coordinating problem resolution across engineering areas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Air & Missile Defense, C2, CUAS, Defensive Fires, or Electronic Warfare.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering and system-of-systems requirements definition and architecture design for Integrated Fires (IF).
• Lead or participate in IPT, FIT, and other technical meetings.
• Perform threat integration tasks and interface with Army and national intelligence centers.
• Develop, use, and maintain simulations and MBSE models and reference architectures.
• Support portfolio-level systems and software processes, test planning, and data analysis.
• Provide engineering support for test planning, execution, and data reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform systems engineering and system of systems engineering requirements definition, requirements analysis, architecture design and implementation recommendations and the development, refinement, integration, and implementation of existing and future Integrated Fires (IF) architectures.
• Lead or participate in working group meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, Future Integrations Team (FIT) or other technical meetings.
• Perform threat integration tasks and interface with Army Threat agencies and National Intelligence Centers.
• Development, use, and maintenance of simulations.
• Support portfolio level systems and software process development and engineering to include development and maintenance of the IF MBSE model and reference architecture.
• Provide engineering expertise for test planning, execution, and post- data collection, analysis, and reporting.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline specifically related to area of specialty and 10+ years of related professional experience.
• Hold a current Secret Clearance.
• Systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules.
• Self-motivated and able to assertively document and follow-up on customer requests.
• Adept at coordinating problem resolution and working across engineering functional areas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Air & Missile Defense, Command & Control, CUAS, Defensive Fires, or Electronic Warfare.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Current TS/SCI
• Advanced degree preferred at this level
• 15+ years of experience with Army battle command and control systems such as Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System, Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control, or the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System
• Familiarity with the Joint All Domain Command and Control system strategy and development
• Current or recent experience working in Integrated Fires & Rapid Capability Office, Integrated Fires Mission Command, or other PEO M&S organizations

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
