Our Client is seekingan experienced Technical Editor to support intelligence production activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical editing experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Intelligence Community standards and editorial requirements.
This position will support the review and production of intelligence products in a fast-paced operational environment

Compensation: $90,000 – $98,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, clarity, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines.
- Ensure intelligence products comply with Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings, DIA Style Guide requirements, ICD 203, and applicable Intelligence Community standards.
- Work closely with intelligence analysts and other professionals to improve the quality, accuracy, and readability of finished products.
- Ensure complex intelligence information is presented clearly and appropriately for different audiences.
- Support editing and production requirements within a 24/7 operational environment.
- Identify inconsistencies, errors, and areas requiring clarification while maintaining the accuracy and intent of intelligence products.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and editing written intelligence products with a high degree of accuracy.
- Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings.
- Knowledge of DIA Style Guide requirements.
- Knowledge of ICD 203 and applicable Intelligence Community standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate degree with 8+ years of technical editing experience.
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of technical editing experience.
- Master's degree with 2+ years of technical editing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a Combatant Command (COCOM) environment.
- Experience incorporating intelligence information into all-source research, analysis, and production.
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community and organizational style guides.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to audiences with varying backgrounds and levels of expertise.
- Support a mission-critical government/intelligence environment.
- Ability to work within a 24/7 operational setting.
