Job summary

Theater Outsource Inc. is seeking a hands-on Technical Manager to lead product development, technical documentation, field support, and special projects in a dynamic entertainment technology environment.

You will move between product design, site conditions, installation details, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products are practical, well documented, and successfully implemented in the field. Regular travel is required in the U.S.

Qualifications

Technical product, systems, installation, engineering, or related industry experience.
Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, site conditions, and technical requirements.
Practical problem-solving skills and confidence working with field teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead U.S. product-development efforts, including construction, cost/price considerations, installation guidance, and maintenance requirements.
Coordinate product testing for safety, quality, performance, and standards.
Research materials with focus on durability, sustainability, performance and cost.
Develop and maintain installation manuals, specs, cut sheets, and submittal materials.
Travel to job sites to support quoting, assess installation readiness and troubleshoot field issues.
