Job summary
International Motors seeks an experienced engineer to join our Certification & Compliance organization as a Technical Domain Owner for Digital Vehicle Systems and Emerging Technologies. You will lead the domain, collaborating with Engineering, Product Development, Validation, Government Relations, Legal, and other teams to align product design with evolving regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/CS with 9+ years in product design/development or CS.
- At least 2 years of lead experience.
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of product design/development and/or CS and at least 2 years of lead experience.
- PhD with 3+ years of product design/development and/or CS and at least 2 years of lead experience.
- Authorized to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Certification & Compliance focal point for assigned product programs and the Digital Vehicle Systems & Emerging Technologies domain.
- Monitor, evaluate, and interpret emerging regulations applicable to assigned technologies and vehicle systems.
- Assess impact of regulatory/technical requirements on design, certification, and product strategy.
- Translate regulatory/standards requirements into practical engineering guidance and certification plans.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into product development.
- Identify risks early in development and recommend mitigations.
- Maintain domain knowledge and regulatory interpretations for consistent decisions.
- Support development of company positions on proposed regulations and standards.
- Provide technical guidance to Certification & Compliance personnel and program stakeholders.
- Ensure evidence, rationale, and documentation support certification activities.
- Monitor technology trends to strengthen capabilities in Digital Vehicle Systems & Emerging Technologies.
