Job summary

International Motors, LLC seeks an experienced Technical Domain Owner to lead Digital Vehicle Systems and Emerging Technologies. You will bridge engineering, regulation, and product development to ensure compliant, future‑oriented vehicle programs.

The role requires strong systems thinking, regulatory interpretation, and collaboration with Engineering, Product Development, Validation, Government Relations, and Legal teams in shaping certification strategies and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of product design/development and/or computer science experience; lead experience required.
• Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience; lead experience required.
• PhD with 3+ years of experience; lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Certification & Compliance focal point for assigned product programs and the Digital Vehicle Systems & Emerging Technologies domain.
• Monitor, evaluate, and interpret emerging regulations, standards, and industry guidance applicable to technologies and vehicle systems.
• Assess impact of new regulatory and technical requirements on vehicle design, certification, product strategy, and business objectives.
• Translate regulatory and standards requirements into practical engineering guidance, compliance strategies, and certification plans.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Development, Validation, Government Relations, Legal, and cross‑functional teams to integrate compliance requirements.
• Identify technical, regulatory, and program risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain domain knowledge, regulatory interpretations, and guidance for consistent compliance decisions.
• Support development of International Motors' technical positions on proposed regulations and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to Certification & Compliance personnel, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
• Support certification activities by ensuring evidence and documentation are complete and defensible.
• Monitor technology trends and evolving industry practices to strengthen capabilities.
