Job summary

pSemi Corporation, a Murata company based in California, seeks a Technical Director, Test Engineering to lead teams delivering test solutions for RF/analog/mixed-signal products from prototype to high-volume production. You will drive test strategy, manage NPI and sustaining efforts, and coordinate with Marketing, Design, Packaging and Reliability teams.

The role requires extensive experience with ATE platforms, DIB and probe card design, and global OSAT partnerships, including APAC.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Test Engineering (RF/analog/mixed-signal)
• 8+ years in management; proven leadership
• Deep proficiency in microelectronics and RFIC characterization
• Hands-on DIB design, probe cards, load boards
• ATE hardware design, failure analysis, test software (C/C++, Python)
• Experience with high-end ATE platforms (Cohu, NI STS)
• Ability to align design, product, and ops using data-driven decisions
• Global OSAT management experience including APAC
• Will travel frequently to APAC Murata/OSAT facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic management and leadership for test engineering teams
• Lead launches of new products into production and sustain existing products
• Define development plans and secure resources to execute
• Interface with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Design, Packaging, etc.)
• Develop test strategies and OSAT management for high-volume manufacturing
• Mentor engineers and establish scalable org structure
• Benchmark test solution performance and drive continuous improvement
• Advise on supplier roadmap and technology differentiation
