Job summary

pSemi Corporation, a Murata company, seeks a Technical Director of Test Engineering to lead teams delivering production-ready test solutions across RF, LNA, PA, DSA, and mmWave products. You will drive test strategy from prototype to high-volume ramp, interfacing with Marketing, Design, Packaging, Reliability, and Quality teams.

The role requires 15+ years in test engineering, strong leadership, and extensive experience with ATE platforms and OSAT partnerships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Test Engineering with focus on RF, analog, and mixed-signal.
• 8+ years of management experience with demonstrated ability to deep-dive to solve technical challenges.
• Deep proficiency in microelectronics, RFIC characterization and automated test equipment (ATE).
• Hands-on background with Device Interface Board (DIB) design, probe cards, and load boards.
• Strong expertise in ATE hardware design, test methodology, failure analysis/hardware debug, and test software development (C/C++, Python).
• Proven experience with high-end ATE platforms such as Cohu (DMDx), NI STS and/or in-house tester.
• Ability to drive alignment across design, product, and operations through data-driven decisions.
• Proven track record managing NPI and scaling into HVM with global OSAT bring-up.
• Experience with OSAT/CM operations in Asia, process control and remote debug.
• Team player with urgency to meet product requirements on schedule.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic management and test engineering leadership while delivering projects on time.
• Define long-term roadmaps aligned with company strategy and OSAT capabilities.
• Lead teams launching new products into production and ensure development requirements are met.
• Serve as expert advisor and train junior engineers; align resources to priorities.
• Guide test solution development, characterization and qualification for high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop industry-leading test solutions meeting performance, cost and quality targets.
• Manage Test Engineers and Managers across local and APAC OSAT locations.
• Establish scalable structure with clear roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain culture of accountability, quality, and risk reduction.
