What would you do if you had technical responsibility across three advanced aerospace manufacturing facilities?
We are working with a major global aerospace manufacturer looking for an experienced technical leader to oversee metallurgy, materials, laboratory and engineering activities across 3 facilities.
This is not a traditional Metallurgist or Quality role. You will be the senior technical authority across the three sites, helping shape manufacturing processes, technical standards, new product introduction, equipment qualification and customer requirements, while ensuring the operation continues to meet the necessary ISO 9001 and quality standards.
The organisation manufactures highly engineered materials and components for demanding aerospace and turbine applications, working with advanced materials and processes including nickel-based superalloys, titanium, powder metallurgy, vacuum-melt atomization and isothermal forging.
The role gives you genuine visibility across the wider organisation. You will work with senior leadership, customers and cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to influence technical strategy across multiple sites.
We are interested in experienced technical leaders with:
You don't necessarily need to already be a Technical Director. A strong Metallurgy Manager, Materials Engineering Manager, Principal Metallurgist or similar technical leader could be a very good fit.
This is an opportunity to step beyond the technical responsibility of a single facility and influence three operations.
You will be working with advanced aerospace materials and processes, leading experienced technical functions and having a direct impact on manufacturing performance, product quality and customer delivery.
The package reflects the level of responsibility:
If you're an experienced metallurgy/materials leader looking for broader technical responsibility within a major aerospace manufacturing environment, I'd be interested in speaking with you confidentially.
