Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading field-based technical teams.
• Industry background in alarm systems, video surveillance, security, telecommunications, or related fields.
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
• Hands-on experience designing and installing security systems.
• Experience delivering offline and online technical training to technical audiences.

• Develop and grow a team of Technical Managers in the UK.
• Implement a comprehensive Ajax Systems training program for the UK market.
• Provide product feedback and requests to product teams.
• Introduce product roadmaps and new features for distributors and installers.
• Visit key customers to promote solutions in collaboration with the Business Development team.
• Teach technical staff at distributors and dealers to increase product knowledge.
• Test product features and write technical documentation for new products or solutions.
• Analyze customer needs in collaboration with sales departments.
• Create vision and provide direction from a strategic perspective.
• Develop training materials for Technical Sales Training Team.
• Travel around 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Developing and growing a team of Technical Managers in the UK.
• Implementing a comprehensive Ajax Systems training program for the UK market
• Play a key role in providing product feedback/requests
• Introduce product roadmaps and new features for Ajax Systems distributors, as well as installers.
• Visit key customers as needed, promote and introduce product solutions according to customer thesis, in close collaboration with Ajax's BDM's.
• Teach technical staff at Ajax Systems distributors and dealers to increase their knowledge of products and technology.
• Test product features and write technical documentation for new products or solutions, and collaborate with the rest of the team.
• Analyze customer needs in collaboration with sales departments
• Create vision, provide direction from own perspective
• Develop training materials/content for the Technical Sales Training Team
• Travel around 50% of time

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading field-based technical teams, ideally in a customer-facing or partner ecosystem environment
• Industry background in alarm systems, video surveillance, security, telecommunications, or closely related fields
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, intrusion systems, and fire alarm systems
• Proven hands-on experience in designing and installing video surveillance, fire alarm, or other security systems
• Experience delivering offline and online technical training to technical audiences
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and willing to travel for business trips, trade shows, and other professional events
• Self-motivated and independent, with an outgoing personality and a proactive approach to work
