Music Theatre Philly is seeking a full-time skilled, collaborative, and solutions-oriented Technical Director to oversee the technical operations, production elements, and backstage logistics of theatrical performances, rehearsals, classes, special events, and visiting productions at our new home at the Arts Bank Theatre in Philadelphia.

In addition to supporting Music Theatre Philly's own productions and educational programming, the Technical Director will coordinate technical services and venue operations for visiting companies, independent artists, and outside organizations presenting performances, concerts, dance recitals, and other live events in the space. This includes communicating with event organizers, coordinating technical requirements, overseeing equipment setup and operation, and ensuring that each event runs safely, smoothly, and professionally.

The ideal candidate combines strong theatrical production and facility management skills with excellent customer service, adaptability, and a genuine interest in working with children and young performers. The Technical Director will help create a welcoming, well-organized, and technically capable performance environment for students, families, visiting artists, and community partners.
