Job summary

Knowmadics is seeking a Technical Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, execute, and deliver MSI training and technology programs. The SME will support planning, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions while providing technical support to customers.

The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, expanding MSI cyber capabilities, and coordinating resources to adopt new technologies.

• Experience planning testing, fielding, and training of EW systems and tactics, techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work independently in remote or office environments with little supervision.
• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and a U.S. State Department Passport.
• Ability to pass random drug testing for DoD clearance requirements.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required.

• Communicate with the Knowmadics team to support training and R&D.
• Help develop best practices for Cyber Operations and EW capabilities for exercises and training.
• Support joint exercises, training events, field tests, and modeling activities.

Job description

The Technical Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) designs, executes, and delivers Knowmadics MSI training and technology programs. The SME also supports the planning, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions and provides related technical support to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement and maintain integrated software and hardware solutions.
• Assist with implementing MSI-managed network systems to ensure the effective delivery of training programs.
• Expand MSI's cyber capabilities and service offerings for existing customers.
• Identify opportunities to attract new customers, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and technology partners to obtain the hardware, software, and specialized expertise required to adopt new technologies.
• Identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies to develop new programs and services, meet established requirements, protect information, and respond to customer needs.
• Communicate with the Knowmadics technology team and other departments to support training and software and technology research and development.
• Help develop best practices supporting Cyber Operations and Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for exercises and training.
• Support joint exercises, training events, field tests, and modeling activities.

• Experience in performing training, technical and analytical work pertaining to telecommunication systems, services, and EW procedures.
• Experience planning and conducting testing, fielding, and training of EW systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently in remote or office environment with little direct supervision.
• Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. State Department Passport.
• Ability to pass random drug testing in support of DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance requirements.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required.

Working conditions

Employees may be called upon to participate in in-person meetings, trainings, or company functions at Knowmadics offices or other designated locations. Travel in support of business operations may also be required, and employees are expected to comply with these obligations as part of their position.

Must be willing to work in a variety of environments and be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required.

Must be flexible to work long hours as required to match or support customer schedules and plan their personal schedule accordingly.

Estimated yearly travel: 50%

Physical requirements

Prolonged periods of remaining in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer.

May be required to conduct physical activity in austere environments such as at elevations above 10,000 ft altitude or in harsh climate conditions such as open water maritime operations, desert, or winter mountain terrain environments.
