We are looking for a Technical Designer – Men’s cut & sew knits for a top fashion company in New York! Temp to perm opportunity. 5 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Work with designers, manufacturers, suppliers and customers to ensure product specifications are workable.
• Analyze projects and determine required resources and project schedules.
• Implement design changes and create contingency plans as needed.
• Supervision of engineering and design teams.
• Visit the production sites and report to management.
• Completion of various administrative tasks.
• Ensuring that all products are of high quality and conform to company standards and brand values.
• Evaluate prototypes and inspect finished products to make sure they are free from defects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Technical Design - Men’s Underwear
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CAD, PLM
• Experience in pattern making
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
• Must have mass market experience
• Experience with Tech Design- men's underwear
