Job summary

Gensler in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Technical Designer to assist in the design process, produce technical documentation, and coordinate with engineering consultant teams. You will communicate project progress and coordination to team members to ensure successful project delivery.

You have experience with construction documentation, construction administration, and are proficient with Revit, collaborating with a team of architects and interior designers focused on Critical Facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 6-10 years of experience in commercial architecture and design with focus on project delivery; Data Center experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques is preferred.
• Experience in construction document preparation and field observation is preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other 3D modeling software.
• Successful completion of project types such as laboratories, data centers, command centers, high-tech factories, and/or federal, state, and local government facility spaces.
• Commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices.

Your Role

As a Gensler Technical Designer, you will assist in the design process, produce technical documentation, and coordinate with engineering consultant teams.
